Our terms and conditions are designed to give you complete confidence in the quality of our services and the peace of mind that your pet is being well cared for at all times.
Full Insurance
The Furry Dog Mother is fully insured for liability, vet and legal expenses.
The terms of insurance include full cover when caring for your pet at our home and yours.
The terms of insurance include the costs associated with loss of keys, such as lock changes.
Health & Safety
All medical and behavioural issues that may impact your dog’s or other dog’s well-being MUST be disclosed during the initial consultation.
For safety and identification purposes all dogs in our care must be chipped and tagged.
When caring for your dog we also tag them with the Furry Dog Mother’s contact details so, in the unlikely event an animal is separated from us, we can be contacted immediately.
We require you to provide emergency contact details for yourself and your vets.
The Furry Dog Mother requires medical records for all dogs detailing vaccinations, worming and flea treatments. These can be obtained from your vet.
The Furry Dog Mother will walk your dog on a lead unless we have your written permission to exercise them off lead. We will only exercise your dog off lead in secure locations. No more than 4 dogs will be walked together at any one time.
Behaviour
Any behavioural issues MUST be disclosed during the initial consultation.
The Furry Dog Mother reserves the right to refuse any dog that may be considered dangerous to their walkers, other dogs or members of the public.
The Furry Dog Mother does not recommend walking bitches during their season and will discuss alternative arrangements.
At the initial consultation please disclose whether your dog is intact, neutered or castrated.
Payment
Can be made in cash or electronic bank transfer according to your preference.
Payment in full is required weekly for dog-walking.
·Payment in full is required at the time of pick up for day-sitting clients and at-home boarders.
The Furry Dog Mother reserves the right to levy a 10% deposit, upon appointment, for at-home dog-sitting and boarding, depending on the duration of the stay.
·The Furry Dog Mother reserves the right to recoup the cost of repairing any damage caused to her property by at-home dog sitting clients.
Cancellations
48 hours notice is required for all cancellations. The Furry Dog Mother reserves the right to charge the full fee if this notice period is not observed.
